Let’s Talk About Book Genres | Are There 5 or 5,000 Different Genres? |New Feature!| #Books #Bookworms #BookBloggers #BookReviewers #LetsTalkAbout   Occasionally, I get random thoughts in my head, and all I really want to do is “Talk About” whatever it is. My cover reveal is TOMORROW! In the meantime, if you are a librarian, bookseller, book blogger, reviewer, or ARC reader, you can find THE SHABTI on Edelweiss+. Check it out if you're looking for a spooky, queer, noirish thriller that feels like The Mummy (1932) meets Nightmare Alley with a healthy dose of romance mixed in.

Now on Spoutible!
I went ahead and made a book page on Spoutible. There’s a rumour that Twitter’s new owner is going to mess with blocking/muting, and I genuinely have no patience for all these petty and silly changes. Even finding people now is just a headache and I’m having to actively seek people out just to find them.
I’m not leaving Twitter, but I do want to find a good alternative and Mastodon never worked for me and I didn’t really get into Hive (although I do have an account). If anyone’s on Spoutible, do follow me and I’ll follow you back! I want to keep in contact with as many indie authors and bloggers as I can! I also have a Bookstagram page where I’m posting reviews, etc, too. I’m @/indiebookspotlight on Insta!

Book Review & Recommendation: Practice Makes Perfect (When in Rome #2) by Sarah Adams
Annie Walker is on a quest to find her perfect match-someone who nicely compliments her happy, quiet life running her flower shop in Rome, Kentucky. Unfortunately, she worries her goal might be too far out of reach when she overhears her date saying she is “sounbelievably boring.” Is it too late to become flirtatious and fun like the leading ladies in her favorite romance movies? Maybe she only…

TCL's #ThrowbackThursday and #LinkParty #39 - May 4-31, 2023.
TCL's #ThrowbackThursday and #LinkParty #39 - May 4-31, 2023. Find out what 5/5 star novel I read and reviewed back in 2012, I'm highlighting this month. I invite all #BookBloggers to join, any day of the week, all month long! #BookTwitter
What is Throwback Thursday? I’ve noticed several of these meme on a few book blogs. For example, Susan Loves Books does one, which is (or was originally) hosted by Renee@It’s Book Talk. I also noticed that another fellow blogger, Lorrea @ What ‘Cha Readin’?, was doing this as a monthly meme for her blog. Then there’s Reading Maria who is doing something called “Last Year I Was Reading” where she…

I already look like the guy on the right, and I haven't actually emailed any of them yet! Send Coffee Lol <3

Where to leave Book Reviews #booklove #syltips
No one wants to waste money on anything that is a disappointment. readers, check reviews to make an assessment before they buy. If you have enjoyed a book, tell others and tell them why. On Amazon, BN.com, Goodreads, Bookbub, LibraryThing, Booklikes and/or Shelfari, it only takes a moment to leave a review! There are more suggestions in the resources links below Serious bookclubbers,…

I hate to ask, but I need reviews.
Dear readers, I trust this blog post finds you well as the Christmas Holiday Season and the New Year fast approaches. What happened to 2024? Time flies as monumental events come at us fast and furious before passing in a blur and disappearing over a far horizon. Who has time for anything as the year winds down to the waning weeks, days, and hours. Right? Having said that and coming perilously…
